Now You’re Cooking is Midcoast Maine’s destination for cookware, fine wine, and culinary instruction. To achieve this vision, we stock the store with a variety of interesting, good quality, reasonably priced kitchen products for the home chef. We provide an inviting environment where the merchandise is well displayed and organized. Our staff are knowledgeable about the products we offer and treat each customer, and each other, as a friend.
Mike and Betsy Fear started Now You’re Cooking, opening the doors for the first time on May 10, 2000. They started with one storefront and slowly grew into 3 along Bath's Front Street, while also developing a 50ft. wall of kitchen gadgets. Vanessa Mayer, longtime business manager, and Heather Fear, Mike & Betsy's daughter-in-law and the store's marketing director, were added as co-owners in February 2023 and their first major project together was to oversee the expansion of the demonstration kitchen to create more room for cooking classes and wine tastings.
As we look to the future, Now You're Cooking strives to continue to be the first place that comes to mind when looking for kitchenware in Midcoast Maine.
